First post of 2011 – almost a whole month late
So I haven’t been exercising the whole of the past week. Major guilt trip but since it’s impossible to turn back time, I can only look to this week for a productive exercise regime and successful dieting! I must exert self-control.
My main motivation for losing weight is clothes. Yeah, that’s shallow because I could have said “health” (I do want to be healthier and fitter too of course) but hey, I’m a girl. We are entitled to want to feel pretty! Oh, I’m going to change my glasses soon (before CNY I hope! Maybe tomorrow if my mom is not too busy) so yay!
When I’m thin enough, there are several clothes I want so badly to buy:
- a floral bralet. I think bralets are incredibly cool. I just hope I have the guts to pull them off in Singapore! The body too, of course.
- cropped tees
- print tees/tank tops
- lacy tights. Maybe those with suspenders? I find them incredibly sexy. Perfect for a night out with the girls! (:
I just discovered this designer today – Christopher Kane. I love his galaxy modal tanks and tees! I love love the galaxy designs. Unfortunately, one tank top is like over 200 bucks. Madness! One dress is over 1k! :O Well, I’ll just have to wait until my rich husband comes along.
Or when I come up with some sort of mind-blowing device which can solve all our environmental issues and becoming amazingly rich, assuming that nobody tries to kill me and steal my device. And the governments allow me to patent it. And I don’t have back-stabbing partners who will try to off me to claim credit for the whole project. Hmmm… I’ll just stick to hooking a rich guy then.
I wonder if you can find body chains in Singapore and how expensive they must be… Hand chains are pretty cool too. I can’t wait until I am thin enough and confident enough to pull off all these styles I see on Tumblr! I mean, there won’t be uniforms in university so I would want to wear pretty clothes everyday. I must also learn to mix and match articles of clothing so I won’t have to repeat the same outfits again and again or bust my (parents’) wallet buying a new wardrobe every year! I love clothes. <3
I am such a shallow bitch. Hm. Sue me.
